PISE inaugural season 

PISE 2018: Hack Your Habit

Participants were assigned to incubate innovative social projects that could foster good habits in their respective communities.

June - July 2018


Mentors (grads or undergrads) and mentees (high school students) were paired up to decide on their topics and to conduct preliminary research.

August 4th & 5th 2018

Orientation Camp

Mentors and mentees met on-site to present their ideas and to report respective stage of their projects.  PISE provided workshops, speeches from prominent guest speakers, and bonding activities.

August - November 2018

Incubation Stage

Each group continued to conduct their researches and executed mini prototypes to test their ideas. By mid-November, PISE's mentees submitted five final project proposals to the committee.

(Optional) Project Implementation

PISE transferred teams to prospective partners for supervision. Teams could choose to run their projects independently.

Sharing the vision "Hack Your Habits", our mentees have successfully finalized five project proposals.


"The Bookfit" is a project dedicated to encourage high school students in Southern Vietnam to take reading as their priority on a daily basis. The project includes various activities like book swapping events, coffee discussion, etc.


"Dong Thap Talks" is the first student project in Dong Thap province dedicated to promote critical thinking, debate and knowledge exchange. The project members host coffee discussion, talk show and various knowledge exchange events in Nguyen Quang Dieu High school for the Gifted.


The Plannin is a project dedicated to promote environmental friendly products among local citizens in Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap province.


TIME is an online platform dedicated to share tips and tricks about time management among high school students in Dong Thap province.


Project Connect is an online platform of sharing youth opportunities to promote youth involvement in creating social impacts.
