Le Hung Nguyen

Founder and President

Hung is a final year student at NYU Abu Dhabi. Over the past six years, Hung has been studying and working in five different countries. While in New Zealand, the first country that he settled abroad, Hung was a Youth Ambassador for UNICEF NZ in 2015. Hung started PISE in May 2018 as an opportunity to give back to his home country Vietnam.

Tra Anh Dong

Director of Fundraising

After working for HP in Malaysia as a technical specialist, Dong returned to Vietnam to pursue his professional growth in a multi-national tech company. He joined PISE after his extensive involvement with YSEALI and multiple social projects in Central Vietnam. Dong has a great interest in social entrepreneurship.

Phuong Anh (Kayla) Nguyen

Director of Media

Though she will be working in Japan upon graduation, Kayla has a passion for Vietnam and its development. Kayla joined PISE during its inception as a mentor in 2018 and has been a fervent supporter ever since. Also, as a blogger, Xe has written beautiful opinion pieces that garner millions of views on Facebook.

Ngoc Le Nguyen

Director of Training Program

Passionate about education for socially disadvantaged students, Le decided to become a fellow for "Teach for Vietnam" over her promising full-time offers. Le is also the founder of the World Beyond Classroom Project, an NPO that won the International Exchange Alumni Grant Competition of The U.S. Mission in Vietnam for the grant of $5000. Le joined PISE in March 2019 as an advisor and Director of the Training Program.

Ngoc Thang Quang

​​​​​​​Executive Advisor

Ngoc has a passion for Vietnam's development and has an immense belief in the prospect of the country. He is working for a growing NGO in New York City after graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a Master's degree in Global Affairs. He graduated from Hanoi Law University in 2016 with a degree in Economic Laws. He joined PISE in 2018 as our first executive advisor and mentor.

Tu Phuoc An Khang

Lead Co-host (Can Tho)

Khang is a freshman at FTU in Ho Chi Minh city. Having joined PISE 2018 as a mentee, Khang deemed it a turning point in his life and now aspires to spread this positive effect to people from other regions in Vietnam. He is a part of the Co-host team for PISE 2019 in Can Tho city.

Nha Ngo

Social Media Co-lead/Lead Co-host (Vung Tau)

Nha first joined PISE as a volunteer and a content writer. She will be joining York University's Class of 2023 this September. She is a part of the Co-host team for PISE 2019 in Vung Tau City, and is among the Co-leads of the Social Media team.

Hieu Ngan

Lead Co-host (Cao Lanh)

​Ngan first joined PISE 2018 as a volunteer. With her experience in founding multiple charity groups in Ho Chi Minh city, she is a part of the Co-host team for PISE 2019 in Cao Lanh city.

Nguyet Que

 Lead Co-host (Can Tho)

Que is a freshman at University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh city. With her experience as an active member of multiple charity programs in Southern Vietnam and ambition to bring PISE to Can Tho, Que will be hosting PISE 2019 in that area.

Minh Nguyen

Lead Co-host (Vung Tau)

Nguyen joined PISE 2018 as our first mentee from Vung Tau city. She is a freshman at Mount Holyoke College (the U.S). Determined to bring PISE back to her hometown, Nguyen will be hosting PISE 2019 in Vung Tau city.

Phuong Tran

Lead Co-host (Cao Lanh)

Phuong first joined PISE 2018 as a mentee. She will be joining Fulbright University's Class of 2023 this Fall. Being one of PISE's most fervent supporters since our inauguration, Phuong is now a part of the Co-host team for PISE 2019 in Cao Lanh city.

Bao Uyen

Local Co-host (Can Tho)

Uyen is currently studying at Can Tho University. She joined PISE 2019, believing that this experience will be a milestone in her self-development process. She will be hosting PISE in Can Tho city.

Tam Phan

Co-host (Vung Tau)

Tam is currently a rising sophomore at Indiana University. With a passion to help build communities and bring about more opportunities for the next generation, she joined PISE 2019 as a Co-host for PISE in Vung Tau city.

Tram Nguyen

Local Co-host (Cao Lanh)

Tram joined PISE 2018 as a mentee. She will be joining Fulbright University's Class of 2023 this Fall. Having been an active participant in social activities in her community, Tram is now a part of the Co-host team for PISE 2019 in Cao Lanh city.

Huy Nguyen

Social Media Co-lead/  Local Co-host (Can Tho)

Huy is currently studying at FPT Can Tho University. Under the purpose of amplifying PISE to a national scale, he joined PISE in 2019 as one of the Co-hosts in Can Tho city and the Co-leads of the Social Media team.

Thi Bui

Co-host (Can Tho)

​​​​​​Thi joined PISE 2018 as a mentee from Ho Chi Minh city. She will join Tufts University's Class of 2023 this September. She is currently one of the Co-hosts for PISE 2019 in Can Tho city.

Thanh Tran

Co-host (Cao Lanh)

Thanh is currently studying abroad in the U.S. She will be joining Indiana University's Class of 2023 this Fall. Coming from An Giang, she joined PISE in 2019 with hopes of bringing PISE to her local community. She will be hosting PISE 2019 in Cao Lanh city.
